What is Fitness, Health & Personal Care ?
Personal Care and Fitness deals with how we take care of our physical bodies and wellbeing. Unlike Medicine which addresses real health issues and problems which could cause harm to us, Personal Care and Fitness can focus more on improving our bodies aesthetically – enhancing our bodies and features so we meet what is culturally-considered to be ‘beautiful’ – and how we feel. There can be some overlap when it comes to rehabilitation for an injury (mental or physical) as well as the preventative measures we can take to avoid real health concerns.
